The Safe Access Program is a national effort that puts private, at-home STI testing directly into the hands of sexual assault survivors

— lab accurate, in thirty minutes, with no clinic, no waiting room, and no explanation to anyone.

Why this exists

The clinic is the last place she wants to be.

For a survivor of sexual assault, the waiting room is not neutral ground. The fluorescent lights, the clipboards, the sympathetic-but-stranger faces — they can feel invasive and scary for her when she's trying to seek safety and comfort.

Her anxiety about going to the clinic can result in delaying testing for sexually transmitted infections, which can quietly cause infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and other lasting harm if left undiagnosed.

We built the Safe Access Program so she never has to make that choice.

Test kits are available through the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) — 1,000+ local service providers she already trusts to be in her corner.

Her home becomes her clinic

A palm-sized PCR device that tests for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis. No mailing, no instruments, no one else in the room.

An answer in thirty minutes

Lab-quality results appear privately on her phone, in a password-protected app. Over 98% accurate.

If she needs it, treatment is there

She has immediate access to a complimentary telehealth visit with a third-party licensed provider who can prescribe what she needs if she has a positive result.
